Airbourne on the front cover of Metal Hammer and still on UK Tour

Airbourne who have been storming the venues the length and breadth of the UK have been rewarded with the rave show reviews with the front spot on this months Metal Hammer magazine and a center splash with write up. The Aussie boys have been seen by 30,000 fans (audio interview) so far on this current tour with some shows still left to go.

‘Diamond in the Rough’ is the latest feel good single/anthem from Aussie rockers Airbourne – with an infectious sing-a-long chorus & a sexy accompanying video to boot!

Album Runnin’ Wild produced by the legendary Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne) and mixed by Andy Wallace (G N' R, Nirvana, Linkin Park) – its certified ‘Gold’ status in their homeland – Australia

Previous singles playlisted on XFM (including a session for the Rock Show / Music Response), Planet Rock, Guardian Media Group’s ‘Rock Radio’ Manchester & Scotland and supported by BBC Radio 1’s Daniel P Carter, BBC 6Music, Virgin Classic Rock and Kerrang Radio (single of the week!)

‘For those about to rock – this is the band you’ve been waiting for’ KKKK – Kerrang

‘So good they make it seem too easy, Airbourne will take off in 2008’- Classic Rock

‘**** kicking old-school rock’ 4/5 – Total Guitar

Previous TV Playlists on Scuzz, Kerrang TV and spins on MTV2 - they’re so cool, the legend that is Lemmy from Motorhead cameoed throughout their last video as their crazed bus driver!

Airbourne featured on no less than NINE major game releases, including Madden NFL ’08, Skate, NASCAR 2008, Need For Speed 2008 and Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground and the band were recently selected to record a WWE Superstar’s theme song

The band have previously played alongside global stages with the likes of Motley Crϋe and The Rolling Stones and have under their belt Sold Out and packed performances at South By South West in 2006 & 2007 plus their previous UK tour SOLD OUT!

The band have returned to the UK for the first time since their legendary Download 2008 set from which clips are all over YouTube of vocalist Joel scaling the stage scaffolding to hang up an Aussie flag then playing guitar/headbanging, hanging from the rafters 60ft above the crowd!!

With a second London Astoria added due to demand, and the tour set to sell out, the band will be rocking out with over 30,000 UK fans :

20th – Nottingham Rock City

22nd – Oxford Academy

23rd – Norwich UEA

24th – Cambridge Junction

26th – Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall

27th & 28th – London Astoria
