'Agankast' formed in 2004 after all four members gained huge experience with
an assortment of previous bands, each gaining a
reputation of excellence in their chosen instrument, and now with a clutch of
new songs already recorded, the samples are going out and
European tour dates are being organised. The four track sampler storms into
life with 'The butcher and the clown' closely followed by
'tutonic plague', both riff driven thrash metal of heart pumping slogs
flirting with wailing solos. Track 3, 'total metal' is 5 minutes
of solid screaming twitching guitar solos weaving in and out of huge slabs
of rhythm and violent growling. The last song (which pissed me
off, it being the LAST song), is a slow dreamy growling whisper of an excuse
to show off the amazing guitar work.
