Unless you like your metal pigeon holed this album will suit all people who love modern metal, 12 head banging brain numbing tracks best played loud in a darkened room with a keg of beer on tap. I know I said no melody! But track one opens with a little tiny bit before it gets stomped on by a fist bashing an open chord when standing too close to the amp, then the album gets serous with 'shadow of eagles' a down tuned sound with scando riffs and squeals. Track 3 continues with huge repetitive riffs and some squirts of squealings... and so it continues with a little thrashy and a little death mixed up with solid vibrant grooves. And oh yeah! lots of chanting and shouting bits to scare the women with.
