Silence Chair produce a dark brooding style of metal, with a gut churning down tuned sound that will make the very foundations of your house shake if you turn up the the volume above number 2 on your stereo. I suggest you start off at number 10, and only worry about it when your walls crack. The EP of the same name churns out a menace that is almost chummy in its manner, all four tracks on this EP display qualities that will have any WWF fan howling in agreement. A most satisfying 16 minutes of aggressive metal and with the band coming from the Bay area of California there are plenty of reasons why we all might hear more about them in the coming future.
