8 songs lashed with exhuberance and good old fashioned shouty chorus guaranteed to get you wanting to join in. If these songs dont get you to slurp your beer then you just don't get it! This album opens with cannonade, a wonderful riff driven guitar sound with harmonic shouty chorus and 'lads against the world' verses - just classic. Track 2, is a continuation of 'lads against the world' with the apt title 'us and us alone'. Track 3 is a song of reminiscing with some excellent bouncy riff work that grabs the feeling of being a teenager just perfectly.
The fourth song has got the be a top ten hit, titled 'utopia' and sprinkled with some brilliant squealing guitar work, this up temp nodder comes complete with infectious air guitar and red faced chanting. The fifth song continues the teenage awakening complete with attitude and belllowing vocals. Song six sounds like another top 10 hit with a great pop/guitar tune introducing 'the girlfriend' another up tempo toe-tapper. Track seven starts off tame but turns into a good old bollocking song that will your grab your curlys - and the last song 'i shall finish the game' is a great album track touching on attitude and agression. This band has a great sound and some excellent attitude that will appeal.
