The picture of the band members look so cool, which caused a slight measure of doubt as the bands name Black Soul Strangers suggested something different.. well its only a single. Lies open up and the thing that struck me was it sounded like a 60's pop song, and a poor one, I persevered with the different version of the same song, this sounded more modern in its production, but at best was always going to be a average album track for a pop band, I see NME rate them.. there you go.
