Red Mist - Last Dance Before Doomsday

Sounding like a latter day doom metal band meets screamo and merge into some sort of black modern riff-fuse hybrid, the EP opens with Descent Into Chaos, and sounds quite good once you crank up the volume, next up was Devil With Angel Wings, even better, actually this could be good enough to get onto my iPod.. savage!.

The EP Last Dance Before Doomsday has four tracks while Red Mist themselves are a young band which is clearly carving out their own stance. The third track War Drums, I think doesn’t match up to earlier expectations, but the final track Crack Addict Logic is excellent. Overall a decent EP that should catch the interest of anyone from the extreme metal end through to screamo lads looking for more meat.
