Life Sentence play a modern style of metal with punk energy and intelligent thought behind the lyrics, not afraid of been inventive Life sentence have found a balance between metal and punk that complements each other in a good way, scorning the anger of punk and utilising good lyrics with some wicked metal the bands debut album of eleven tracks is a refreshing splash of colour.
The album opens with ‘The voice of a thousand heroes’ and is an interesting opener to the albums main course, the second track has a guitar riff that feels like a razer ripping you open and from then onwards it rip and slash guitars with bullock kicked screams, only joking!.. this is a great album full of excellent fresh riffs and bags of uptempo energy this is a band that is going to grow into something bigger so catch a copy and hang on for the ride.
