The Zico chain have been back on the road after a 6-12 month break, previewing new tracks on there up and coming new album and getting the Zico chain camp excited again. With there previous album "food" released in 2007 doing well and having support slots with bands such as Velvet Revolver and a respected opening performance at Download 07. It shows these guys need to get back out there and keep things alive, and get things moving before there new release (date yet to be announced).

With tonight being there last show on a 15 show UK tour they open as if it was there first show of there tour. The band room in the Kasbah was more than half full by the time the band opened with there acoustic track. This giving the impression of a mellow performance was then shattered when then kicked in by vocalist Chris Glithero. His vocals change from quite melodic as he looks at the crowd through his hair, to his more aggressive howling vocals. As well as Chris's vocals there set was also quite varied with some punky elements mixed in with there hard rock sound. With the band not shy of getting the crowd moving and having a full sound made it feel that they were more than just a 3 piece band. The gig just showed how they are back on it, and I suspect another UK tour coming soon.
