Using melody and some well written verse Phil delivers his songs with conviction and passion. It is difficult to pick out any single song for accolade as they all have their individual charm and freshness that seems to make them better each time you listen, but there are songs on this album destined to be singles and there are songs that will remain album tracks but this will be the very reason that will make this album a timeless composition and will be played for many years to come. The album Naked and Naïve contains twelve tracks dealing with a mix of subjects all displaying gentle wisdom and like the title suggests perhaps a naive ness that adds to the charm of each song, if only things were that simple. |
