God 'N Guns what a great title for an album from an all American band that celebrates the good 'ol days, a nice round dozen tracks to listen to and although the band only consists of two members from those halcyon days of the mid seventies, the continuity over the years has cast in stone the bands style and sound.
So God n Guns give us what we would always expect from the southern boys. Already the opening track 'Unbroken' has been released as a single which has reminded people that the band are on form.
This is the first album from the band in five years and is hotly tipped to crash the charts. Lynard Skynard with God n Guns sticks to the tried and tested formula of southern rock with lyrics based around family values and sentimental stories of the 'ole times. Lots of pleasant guitar work a bit heavier then I remember from earlier material but still with those clever complex picking solos, big chord strums and what sounds like a touch of bottle necks sliding.. awesome stuff.
