The bands second album 'The 59 Sound' has captured a whole new audience, and one of the songs that have won the album so many accolades is the new single 'The Backseat'. Playing an infectious rock n roll foot tapping melodies wrapped up in lyrics that are bound tightly to everyday life this is a song we can all relate to. I think is the best single so far to be taken from the album, and will surely get them mainstream airplay in the UK.

The Gaslight Anthem who come from New Jersey USA have been likened to Springsteen himself, and in a way they do have that folk/punk feel to the lyrics but with the Boss himself a confessed fan, only bodes well for this bands future progress.
