The combined talents have proved to be the perfect ingredients for writing and producing seventeen outstanding songs full of lyrical value and pumped through with quality rock sounds. John Carter carries the vocals with belief and fire while playing a mean guitar. John Bootle plays the bass in a unique innovative way that brings meat to ego's solid sound whilst Dan Warren brings that rare drummers skill of timing his explosions to the right time! Underpinning the solid prog metal sound are the soaring keyboards of Harvey Bainbridge, and we're not talking organ here, but some of the most hormone drugging tweaks that you haven't heard for many a few gears. Overall the album has huge breadth, stretching from the thought provoking era of 'dark side of..' to the racing soaring axe work of 'choose your masks' but done with a no compromise attitude that tells it as it really is, modern progressive heavy rock seems like an understatement. |
