The Ghost Of A Thousand - New Hope, New Demonstrations

This is the bands long awaited second album and what a long way they have come in the two years since the fury of the début album 'This is Where the Fight Begins'. Opening the album with the screaming stomper of a track 'Moved as Mountains, Dreamt of by the Sea', TGOAT spew untold passions down your throat before making you throw it all back up with the the new single 'Bright Lights' and the second track on this belter of an album.

TGOAT have built a ferocious reputation as a live band and now somehow they have captured all that energy onto plastic that will have to go down as a must have for all punkers everywhere. TGOAT have an amazing ability to produce a furious rhythm that is more infectious then swine flu and with a virulent energy that will have you sweating like pigs.

TGOAT earned their rep as a hardcore punk band second to none, and now they have found the secret to pour that idealistic stance into a rock song and with their uncanny ability to nail down lyrics that are perfect for screaming your ****ing nuts off, the band are going to continue going down a storm whereever they go.

The album has eleven tracks and I can't say that there is a bad one on the album, the great thing about the album is that it is not repetitive with variations on the same tune, sure the energy remains blistering all the way through, but the melodies are different on each tune while the vocals remain generally hardcore the bands values remain undiminished, there is a subtle change as the album progress's which hint there is a lot more talent in this band then mere hardcore punk rock and I look forward over what is destined for a long career, to experience it.
