Classing themselves as melodic symphonic, this Swiss female fronted progressive metal band with a crew count of six members produce a full and rich sound that is going to appeal to the melodic progressive rock aficionados.

Singing in English Andrea on vocals has a sweet vocal style that melds well with the keyboard and twin prog guitars of the band, although classing themselves as metal it is a light refreshing breath. This is Lunatica's forth album and like all good prog bands they are in it for the long haul, not for them the rise and burn of younger impatient bands.

Technically the musicians are more then capable, although I wonder how their grasp of English can impact on the words used in the lyrics as sometimes they can come across as a bit naive. A decent album with eleven tracks and over fifty minutes of good listening and worth owning if melodic prog metal is your bag.
