Playing a timeless classic hard rock style that embraces everything from Zep through to Guns' n Roses and a lot of bands in between, producing lyrics that Rock fans aren't afraid to live up to Voodoo Johnson love girls, beer and rock n roll and arnt averse in leaving rubber on the tarmac when they unleash their live shows.
This is the bands second CD release, titled 'Into The Red' it includes five tracks and is released as an EP although it's more a mini album and a suitable introduction to the band and their energetic classic rock style.
Opening with the Riffy 'The longest day I Ever Wasted' the track bounces along in a style that is probably the most radio friendly song on the release with its infectious tune and decent exciting guitar solo weaving in and out of half the song. The second tune 'Bad Habit' up's the anti with its lyrical assertions and harder edge rock that leaves you in no doubt what is probably bad for you.
The third track 'Seven Years' keeps the hard edge and again gives well written lyrics the suitable platform to be espoused with Bayliss really nailing the passion and commitment to the words as he stretches himself vocally and really shows that he can cut it while Gethin shows that he has mastered the axe, the band in general are credited with the song writing. The forth and fifth tracks also come up trumps with originality and diverse as tunes, this is the first CD release I have heard from the band and bodes well for the bands future because if they can write material with this quality and keep up the high octane live shows that they are getting a rep for they can only go up.
