Lavondyss - For Future Reference

‘For Future Reference’ is an absolutely outstanding track, combining raw vocals and blistering guitars. Verse passages expose the band as truly talented individuals, while the drums and guitar echo mellow tones, the vocals sing softly, before dominating with a heavy growl. This song is pure class and I’m actually gutted that I haven’t heard more from this band sooner. Hailing from sunny Rubgy, Warwickshire, UK these boys sure now how to tear up some homegrown rock and metal. A surefire hit in my eyes and that’s just one song from their debut album (available now).

Recently signed to Wolf At Your Door records, Lavondyss are here to stay and fingers crossed they’ll continue to dominate the music scene and make it big. They have an appeal which crosses numerous genres and makes this band very likeable. If they play near my area, I’ll be sure to grab myself some tickets, because if they nail a live set as well as the record, they’ll be a force to be reckoned with. Lavondyss are a band who you’ll neighbours will be pleased to be woken up at all hours in the night for. Play it loud, very loud.

I always head over to band’s MySpace page to see what their fans are saying and do these guys have a following – hell yeah! Deservedly so, a loyal fan base who appreciate everything this band have to offer. ‘Meanwhile Back On Earth’ is another song on offer on their MySpace page and although heavier, it still contains the Lavondyss touch, which is brilliant.
