The new single from Slipnot is different from the traditional Slipnot styles, but what a great song to show that you can evolve and still produce the power and energy that you have earned your rep with. Dead Memories has quality stamped all over it, using 'standard' rock structures that will go a long way to capture a whole new audience. It firmly shows that the band really does have talent and doesn't have to live on the edge of the metal world that they have embraced in the past with thier shock rock, rap and other outlandish forms to gain attention to the message that they want to say. A good song that I think will stand the test of time in the bands catologue. Taken from the new Slipknot album 'All Hope Is Gone' 'Dead Memories' rocks from the first chord to the last note.
