This record starts with a beating heart sound effect, over-shadowed by a female vocal and sweet piano, all present to produce the atmosphere of things to come. Track 2 cracks into a blend of distorted guitars and a clean vocal, similar to that of Lost Prophets of Fightstar.
A well produced album and a likeable release, delivering all the aspects you would expect to find in the current melodic pop-rock market place. If we had more bands like this getting deserved recognition, our music scene would be a whole lot better. Although this band have taken on current trends and sounds, they continue to deliver fresh arrangements on each track. The vocals are strong and are well suited to the accompanying music. I will point out the drums, as they are excellent throughout and provide a solid and reliable base to build upon.
Track 9 echoes of My Chemical Romance and it was at this point I was able to secure this group’s genre and direction of musical taste. This same track (9) really woke me up, as it had a far rockier edge to it and the guitar work was simply brilliant – a real head banging tune!
