Symptom – I Believe In You

‘Symptom’ have an interesting sound, reminding me of mellow rock, although it has a heavier undercurrent in places. You could compare this single ‘I Believe In You’ to Pearl Jam at times, with vocal delivery, but their overall sound is slightly droney and some of the passages are simply drawn out noise. I think potentially this band could be very good, however this particular single does not do the band any justice as it simply doesn’t seem to go anywhere. After a number of listens I would describe this as more of an album track, or atmosphere builder. 'Symptom' have something unique about them, but ‘I believe in you’ does not show that fully, in my opinion.
