Mako - Unstoppable (single)

Mako are Declan O'Shea and Christian Montagne who were both formaly from the alternative underground act Cyclefly and who had mild success with two albums, were considered good enough to tour with luminaries such as Tool, Linkin Park and Bush amongst others. Mako's debut album 'Living On Air' is due out early 2009 but in the meantime we are introduced to their music with the single 'Unstoppable' with an accoustic 'B' side 'Grace' both can be heard on their myspace page.

Declan still has the same melodic vocals as he had when he was on vocals with Cyclefly. The song is mellow and almost has a dreamy effect but using his vocals to good effect the song climbs up and down and keeps the melody interesting, perhaps not a top twenty type of song but still good enough to pick up some new fans and probably re-kindle all the Cyclefly fans.
