Pumping out quality melodic hardcore is what Misery Signals have been doing these past five years and as with the earlier release's we get uncompromising
raw sound to influence every cell in your body. The album has ten tracks of pummelling drums, flesh tingling downturned guitars with short sharp riffs that feel like a Shaolin kung fu expert is working you over with some new 'finger fighting' technique so deep do the riffs stab.
Pouring out bile and aggression Shubach on vocals roars out a tirade against the unfortunates to cross swords with his ethics and gives direction to those who want to follow. An album difficult to relate to in the normal sense of the word and is probably more for the deep thinker, although fans of Misery Signals are already aware of that. A decent album that keeps the flag flying for MS although I don’t see it capturing to many new fans, unless you happen to be intelligent and a hardcore fan!
