US rockers A7X release a limited edition single on the 7th July to commemorate their European tour with Iron Maiden this summer, the single 'Dear God' will be released straight after the Twickenham show which will be the bands fifth gig with Iron Maiden in ten days. The single will be paired with an alternative version of 'Afterlife' released earlier this year as a standalone single, both tracks can be found on the bands self titled and self produced album 'Avenged Sevenfold' released in 2007.
The single will introduce themselves directly to a wider British public who will also have a chance to see the band in action when they return to share the bill with Metallica at the Leeds and Reading festivals in August this year. Dear God has been recorded in a country rock style, while A7X seem to enjoy recording a wide variation of rock and don't pander to any one genre as these two tracks indicate, this release is going to cause a scramble among A7X fans and if on sale at the shows the hard copy will sell out manyfold, thankfully it is also going to be available as a download from the usual sources.
