Apart from tearing up the countryside the B-movie heroes are a great heart-pumping excitement band full of ideas and catchy tunes that allow you to recognise their sound anywhere. The album leads off with an accoustic guitar intro that totally gives you the wrong impression on the rest of the album. The first true song 'cash cow' pumps up the volume with some groove riffs and a 'Join us' chrous that will have you twisting the volume louder - the album is played best at the noise limit before your neighbours have you arrested for disturbing the peace. This is a boys own album, full of full blown riffs, bashing skins and lyrics that you can recognise and identify with, and thankfully no mention of girl trouble. With twelve tracks and the intro you not only get your moneys worth but you get a good spread of rock songs that liven up your iPod and go down well at parties. The band have included several tracks that could be considered the albums 'quiet spots' but they're still awesome. |
