As Silence Falls - Self Titled Debut

Think Bullet for my Valentine with bigger balls and you’re on the right track. Yet another amazing Welsh band that are on the verge of breaking through. Hailing from Bridgend the birthplace of Funeral for a Friend and Bullet For My Valentine, they’re following in their brethren’s footsteps but with more ferocity than Funeral who have mellowed out and Bullet who still have a poppy element.

Much like Bullet, they’ve released a mini-album to introduce the world to their sound and if history is anything to go by, it’s an excellent plan.

In short, As Silence Falls are modern British metal that you would be ignorant to think you could miss.

The production quality is excellent and the songs flow perfectly, it’s only a shame it only a mini album this time around. Check them live, wear their T-Shirts, force your friends to listen and get their logo tattooed on your neck. If this anything to go by, they’re going to deserve it!

As Silence Falls has been out since January 22nd on SugarShack Records and it’s a downright sin that we didn’t review it then.

Track List:
  1. Theres no axe in accident
  2. Where tragedy lies
  3. The War Inside
  4. In Accordance with Prophecy
  5. A Shadow of Greed
For Fans of: Bullet for my Valentine, Funeral for a Friend, Killswitch Engage
