Museum of Fear are a two piece from Baltimore, Maryland, United States that utilize the softer side of metal and the poppy elements that make bands like A Perfect Circle such a success.
While only a two piece, both band members offer up an impressive array of musical abilities playing Guitars, vocals, keyboards and Bass between them. Drums are provided by friends and session musicians to give a different style and sound to each track and it's pulled off well.
A dark atmosphere surrounds the majority of the tracks, especially Mindwheel, the most metal like of the lot. Vocally a little weak to pull of any real claim to being metal but it suits non the less. If I had to pin it down the overall style I'd have to go with Progressive Metal
