CGB'S when I first saw the band name somewhere deep inside my burned memories the name George Hatcher band sprang to mind but when I started to play this CD all I could think of was Page, Clapton and Beck jamming down some cool boogie blues rock. Although the band haven't got the energy of a page riff or the intricate slow hand solo or gear change of a Beck the similarities are there and makes for an astounding collection of original chill out rock for those moments when you don't need to scare away the fillies.
Providing fifty minutes of great rollicking fiery guitar work and then tagged on the end a sixteen minute live cover of Voodoo child makes for a very entertaining album. The main drawback is the band do it all without any vocals but they would be hard pressed to find a singer who could hold their end up with this combo.
