After just finishing a successful UK Tour, POWER QUEST are pleased to announce two festival appearances for 2009!
They are confirmed for the first edition of a new UK festival called METALFEST, set to take place on September 25-27, 2009 at JB's in Dudley. The 6 piece will play amongst the likes of Blaze Bayley (interview) , Brainstorm and Threshold, to name a few of the confirmed acts.
I got my hands on streaming audio of RBF’s first single off their new cover album before it drops on jan 20th. It’s their take on “Nothing But A Good Time” by Poison and it’s awesome. I miss good ska.

The Blackout have had a phenomenal year since ‘We Are The Dynamite’ was released in October 2007 on Fierce Panda. Their last tour saw them join the ranks of a shortlist of unsigned bands to sellout the London Astoria and to say goodbye to the historic venue (the Astoria is slated for demolition in early 2009). The boys from Wales have been on the road almost constantly from massive tours including those with Linkin Park and NERD, storming performances at Give It A Name & the Reading/Leeds festivals and whilst somehow fitting in their own headline sold out shows in Japan, Europe and the USA!
