Pitchshifter drummer Jason Bowld and Hundred Reasons vocalist Colin Doran have spent the last 9 months honing the sound of their new band 'They fell from the sky'. 'This is not a vanity project, it's a band of highly creative individuals wanting to create something that has substance and believe it or not, songs' says drummer Jason Bowld. 'Anyone who knows our history, is going to ****ing love TFFTS'.
Hook-laden vocals, larger-than life grooves and melody are evident in the bands sound. Coupled with a punk attitude and intense energy the band also features Snuff bass player Lee Erinmez and guitarists Dave Draper and Oly Edkins.
'We haven't stopped writing tunes - we can't! There's already an album finished and ready to go' says Colin Doran. 'We are just going to take our time and maybe put out something next spring. In the meantime, we are going to **** **** up at a venue near you and put out the occasional free download. We're not precious about holding onto tunes - we're a songwriting machine for ****s sake.'
