Irish / German band Reamon join Status Quo on tour starting in Bristol November 10th..
Reamonn will release their next single ‘Million Miles’ on 7 December through UMRL..
Reamonn, one of Europe’s biggest selling artists, continue their UK conquest as they are now confirmed to support Britain’s best-loved rockers Status Quo on their national tour throughout November 2009.
This special guest slot for Reamonn confirms their status as one of the most uniquely individual bands in Europe. Their music has a wide-ranging appeal that has seen them support A-ha, collaborate with Nelly Furtado and Lucie Silvas and perform for Barack Obama. At a recent London showcase, they were even seen by Peter Andre and Europe’s Joey Tempest. Whether rock or pop Reamonn deliver with astounding live performances and great songs. Known for his powerful and engaging vocal, singer Rea Garvey also provided vocals for the track Let Go, a huge trance hit for DJ Paul van Dyk.
These dates with Status Quo and the recently announced support to Blue October follow on from their triumphant live performance at the iTunes Festival this July. Already established as a stadium filling behemoth in Europe, having played at both Live 8 and Live Earth, Reamonn have gradually introduced themselves to a UK audience by playing intimate venues in London. A residency of four gigs, over the period of a month at London’s Water Rats, saw Reamonn double their audience with each show, ending on 14 May with a packed to the rafters, sweltering mass that stretched the venue beyond capacity.
