Hellfire Festival Announce Fields of the Nephilim as Headliners

Fields of the Nephilim have been announced as the first of the Headliners to appear at the Hellfire Festival on the Sunday at the NEC..

UK Goth legends Fields of the Nephilim have been confirmed as the first of three headline acts for the forthcoming Hellfire Festival which takes place at the NEC Birmingham on November 6th, 7th and 8th. The seminal cult rockers will headline the Sunday night at Hellfire and promise to bring the festival to a spectacular climax.

Fields of the Nephilim are widely regarded as one of the most influential and powerful bands in their genre and have been sighted by numerous major industry figures as such. The band are known to have strongly influenced and inspired artists as diverse as HIM, Nevermore, Behemoth, Fear Factory, Kreator and Immortal to name but a few.

Currently only making select festival appearances this is an exclusive UK appearance by the band and we are greatly honored, not to mention extremely excited to welcome them to Hellfire. Fields of the Nephilim will set the tone for the main stage on Sunday and we look forward to releasing details of our suitably dark complementary line up very soon.

Metal titans Saxon confirmed at last weekends Sonisphere Festival that they will be headlining the Saturday of Hellfire Festival on November 7th at NEC Birmingham. Expect lashings of Heavy Metal Thunder from the original masters of Metal who continue to prove year on year that they are still at the very top of their game. Hellfire’s Rob Ferguson commented “Saxon are one of the most popular bands to grace any festival line up and we are pleased to be able to put them in their rightful place at the top of the bill at the forthcoming Hellfire Festival”.

Also confirmed as main support on the same day are Canada’s Anvil, the band who gave us a Heavy Metal story with a happy ending in the form of their critically acclaimed 2009 movie ‘Anvil! The Story Of Anvil’. The band continue to live the dream and deliver Metal on Metal with this main stage appearance alongside their piers.
