Fervently pursuing their mission to remind everyone what made rock classic, Voodoo Johnson are cramming scything guitar riffs, skyscraping choruses, and a bone-smashing rhythm section into the nearest travel bag, and hitting this summer’s festivals.
Taking in Guilfest, The Bulldog Bash, Hard Rock Hell III and more, the most talked about new faces on the rock scene are readying themselves to tear their audience’s new lugholes with their energetic and adrenaline-fuelled live set. With a sound that inhales a lung-busting concoction of Queens of the Stone Age, Guns ‘n’ Roses, and Aerosmith, before spewing out indulgent rock anthems with gargantuan riffs, they are unlikely to disappoint.
Built on the critical acclaim garnered from the
Into The Red EP that saw Alex Zane and BBC 6 Music’s Bruce Dickinson become fans earlier this year, Voodoo Johnson will look to cement their position as the brightest prospects in British Rock with their highly anticipated debut album, scheduled for recording later in 2009.
