INNERPARTYSYSTEM unveil video for 'Heart of Fire' - UK tour starts this week!‏

Watch Innerpartysystem’s latest music video on Rock3, the video for the forthcoming track ‘Heart of Fire’ is their most personal to date - “We shot it in hotel rooms and parking lots, airports and afterparties. This REALLY is our lives for the past year. We’d squeeze in a performance setup wherever we had a free hour and some space. For us, the coolest thing about it is how large of a period of time the footage spans, because it really hits home for us how much has happened in the last year. There’s 8mm footage from our very first US tour, where we had no clue what the **** we were doing, didn’t have an album in stores or an agent, and would roll into these random cities, play for twenty people and crash on floors. It builds through to now where we’ve built our fanbase and are selling out shows on two continents. A year ago we had a hard time thinking outside of Pennsylvania, it’s been a hefty transition.”

Live review of Innerpartysytem Innerpartsystem Live @ The Bar Academy Birmingham

Innerpartysystem’s latest music video for forthcoming track ‘Heart of Fire’ is their most personal to date. The band is known for their intense creativity and the original spark that exudes from each and every one of their music videos and, although it tells more of an autobiographical story, ‘Heart of Fire’ is no different. Some of the video’s narrative is shot in stop animation but a large proportion of it was filmed when the band were on the road in locations across the world over the past year. Vocalist Patrick explains the logistics - “We shot it in hotel rooms and parking lots, airports and afterparties.

Innerpartysystem are to bring their electrifying live show to UK shores once again in April a few weeks before the release of new EP ‘Heart Of Fire’ on 18th May. The release includes previously unreleased tracks and the band will be playing a run of headline dates as well as a coveted slot on the Give It A Name festival. Innerpartysystem have already completed a sold out headline tour of the UK this year which saw numerous venues upgraded and enthused audiences going wild to the unique innerpartysystem sound across the country. High profile slots on festivals such as Projekt Revolution and 02 Wireless introduced the band to the UK and since then they have gone from strength to strength with unbridled support from the likes of Scuzz TV, Kerrang!, Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley and Dan Carter and last single ‘Don’t Stop’ being playlisted at Radio 1 and MTV2. Viewer voting stats for ‘Don’t Stop’ sky-rocketed at both MTV2 and Scuzz TV.

The four members of innerpartysystem hail from the small towns that surround Reading, Pennsylvania. The rural, stark nature of the landscape has certainly had an effect on the band’s sound which incorporates throbbing electronic beats with the aesthetic of a rock band whom, like Nine Inch Nails, Pendulum and Prodigy, aren’t afraid to mix styles and mess with the formula. Innerpartysystem worked with a stellar line-up of producers and engineers on their self-titled debut album, released last year - Stuart Price (Madonna, Missy Elliott, The Killers, Gwen Stefani), Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine) and Mark 'Spike' Stent (Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, Goldfrapp)
