When Shinedown toured (live review & photos) the UK recently on a double bill with DISTURBED (live review & photos) they caused such a sensation that they have set themselves up for some return dates in January. The Jacksonville, Florida-based fivesome exploded onto the US rock scene in 2003 with their RIAA platinum-certified breakthrough debut, ‘Leave A Whisper’. 2005 saw the release of sophomore album ‘Us and Them’, the RIAA gold-certified record that yielded the blockbusting single ‘Save Me’ – a track which dominated the airwaves holding down the number one spot in the mainstream rock charts for a stunning twelve consecutive weeks. The success of ‘Save Me’ was followed by two further Top 5 hits – ‘Heroes’ and ‘I Dare You.’

From the start, Shinedown have proven to be true road warriors, touring non-stop to bring their hard-edged rock ‘n’ roll to fans across the US. The band has performed countless headline dates, and shared stages with the likes of Seether, Van Halen, 3 Doors Down, Rob Zombie, and Godsmack.
