Scottish hard rock band LOGAN who completley sold out of the first pressing of current album 'Cruel Little World' after their support gig with Bon Jovi (
live review) at Hampden park and the subsequent tour have remastered the original eight tracks and have added several new songs to the extended CLW including the new single Lost & Found, fans favourite, Grounded and New Way, a full blooded, six minute rocker.
"We've got a lot more up our sleeve, but we want to hold back some of the material for the next album," added Kenny, "we'll be giving the fans a taste of some of these on the Alter Bridge tour, and we'd like to post some of the demos on our websites to gauge the reaction – our fans are always a good sounding board."
Band Bio:
Formed in 2003, Logan are a five piece hard rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Their self funded debut album First Leaf Fallen was released in 2003 and followed this up with Welcome To The Wasteland a year later, building an impressive UK fan base and selling in excess of 8000 copies. In 2005 they secured high profile support slots with Alter Bridge, which helped them to become one of the most talked about independent bands in the UK. In June 2006 they released their first single When I Get Down which debuted at No.12 on the Official UK Rock Chart and proceeded to stay in the chart for seven weeks – a feat never before achieved by an unsigned band.
September 2006 saw the release of their third album Cruel Little World and their second single Hallowed Ground followed, again breaking into the UK Rock Chart Top Twenty, the only unsigned band to have achieved this incredible feat. 2007 saw the band win awards at The UK Glasswerks Awards for New Music and a nomination as ones to watch in 2008 by the UK's leading rock magazine Classic Rock and an inclusion on the accompanying cover mount cd. 2008 is the year of Logan. Airplay of the forthcoming single "Lost & Found" won the band a support slot with Bon Jovi at Hampden Park in front of 40000 and the subsequent 8 date UK headline tour pushed sales of Cruel Little World to sell out status. Total sales of all three releases are now nudging 30,000 with no label support. A new pressing with bonus tracks will be launched in October to compliment a 24 date UK and European tour in support of one of the USA's hottest rock acts.
