"From the beginning of this Devastation, from Visions of Schizophrenia and battles Beneath the Remains to Arise in this Chaos A.D. From Point Blank executions to trying to find the Roots of your soul.
From Primitive ways to Trinity, from Prophecies to Dark Ages Inflikting the world with metal. The mission continues, stronger than ever. Conquer your fear and you’ll conquer life and death." Soulfly are back with their
new album "Conquer" and will be heading over to The Leadmill on 18th August 2008! Following his split with Sepultura back in 1996, Max Cavalera returned with his new band Soulfly a year later. Since their debut, Soulfly have remained one of the genre's most consistently brutal outfits.
A truly world music-insprired collective, Cavalera travelled to five locations to record their fifth album "Dark Ages" but for Conquer, a trip to Egypt was all that was needed. These flavours makes Soulfly stand out from the rest of the pack, and Cavalera a legend in his own right. Soulfly provokes. It’s metal for the daring!!

Just 2 days later, the Leadmill welcomes Biffy Clyro to its main stage. Following 4 albums and numerous tours, Biffy Clyro finally exploded into thecharts with their latest album Puzzle (and very well deserved it was too!)From soaring download single 'semi-mental' through to the bludgeoning punchof 'Saturday Superhouse' through the swollen intensity of the slow-burning'As Dust Dances' to the glorious foot-stomping live favourite 'Who's Got A Match?', 'Puzzle' packs an emotional punch with 24-carat choruses shotthrough with Biffy's trademark sideways approach to songwriting. 'Puzzle' is the definitive statement - so far - from a band that believers have always known would take on the world one day.
Biffy Review - Puzzle
The band themselves are far too humble to take notice of the increasing number of voices calling them "the British Nirvana". What it does do is set a watermark, and usher in a new age of British hard rock in the same way 'Nevermind' did all those years ago. After performing at many festivals' main stages, seeing them on a small stage is always something to behold! Mon The Biffy!
