Metal band Sanctorum's second album 'ASHES OF REDEMPTION' is getting great reviews and getting ever closer for its August 25th release, the band are building up a tour to acompany the release.

Sanctorum appear in this months Big Cheese Magazine, along with featuring on the covermount CD with 'Sorrow Of Man', with bands; In Flames, Cult Of Luna, Forever Never etc....

Sanctorum and their management are very please to announce the appointment of Kristian Sawkins (Kris) as their new bassist. (25th May)


Kris 21, has 7 years bass experience, lives in the Colchester area and has been on the local music scene for a number of years with late heavy metal outfit 'Primavera'.
He cites his musical influences as Iron maiden, Dream Theater, Dagoba, Metallica, Kamelot etc. and admits 'Metal is what I love and live for and Sanctorum have everything to offer'.

Kris's first gig with Sanctorum will be at 'The Twist' Colchester on 6th June 2008 when Sanctorum headline the venues' 'Download Warm Up Festival'.

Sanctorum and their management wish Kris a long, loud and very metal future with the band as they prepare for the imminent release of their follow up album to 'The Heavens Shall Burn'.
