Radio One DJ Daniel P Carter announces his own stage at this year’s Hard Rock Hell 2 Festival at Pontins, Prestatyn, and N.Wales on Dec 5th. Daniel P. Carter who was a founder member of the respected band 'The Lucky Nine' (review) some years ago as well as the band, 'A' releasing four albums achieving mainstream success and touring the world many times over playing shows and festivals with the likes of Blink 182, Deftones (live review), Lostprophets, Muse and The Offspring.

The Daniel P Carter stage promises to showcase the best new rock music around with sets from six up and coming new acts all of which are currently being championed by the DJ on his Radio One show. The stage will also be sponsored by Metal Hammer magazine.
Acts confirmed to appear include Canadian band "The Cancer Bats", Textures, Johnny Truant, The Ghost of a Thousand and new Visible Noize Records signings "The Plight" and Cry for Silence (review)

Hard Rock Hell booker Seven Webster also of 7pm management said "I spoke to Daniel at last year’s event and we spoke about him getting more involved with the festival so it is great to have him hosting his own stage and introducing a fresh edge to this year’s event with acts like the Cancer Bats, Textures and The Plight .

Other Acts playing this year’s event include Black Label Society, Thin Lizzy (Live show photos), Hawkwind, Clutch and The Wildhearts.
Hard Rock Hell also picked up the award for best Rock Festival of 07 at last week’s Golden Gods Awards after its first year proved to be such a massive success.
