Their debut single reached No 3 in the HMV Rock download charts and pre orders for the forthcoming album are already stacking up.
Primitai formed in 2003 whilst at college and quickly formed a high energy writing and playing collaboration.
Constant gigging for 3 years around the underground venues of the UK have seen the band build a fanatical fan base. Having written, performed, recorded and funded their debut album the band released their first download single ‘Primitillian Man’ in September 07 with a supporting video. The bands debut album ‘Through the Gates of Hell’ is released in March with cover artwork supplied by leading US fantasy artist, Michel Bohbot.

Planet Thrash
Their debut single reached No 3 in the HMV Rock download charts and pre orders for the forthcoming album are already stacking up. The recording of the album at Stakeout Studios took over a year, not because of technical problems or disagreements but because the band could only afford to record 1 track at a time. War Cries was the first single to be taken off the new album and features on the playlists at Total Rock Radio, BD’s Rock Show and many more.
The bands influences are Iron Maiden, In Flames, Kiss, AC DC, Motley Crue, Manowar & Cannibal Corpse and maybe it’s best to let the band describe their debut album…
“The album delivers some of the most ball breaking riffs and guitar lead that any mortal this side of hell has heard in a long time. Influenced by many of the greatest heavy metal bands ever, none of that bull**** metal that little emo kids weep over!”
Primitai stands for no **** and good times.
