Heavy Heavy Low Low are a young experimental band still pushing the musical boundaries and have a unique 'core sound that has to be heard.

1. How did the band get together?

A: we were born from plants and given lives by the dirt gods assigned to this earth, now we play happily.

2. Where do you all come from?

A: san jose, california

3. What bands were your greatest influences?
A: black flag to blink 182, violent femmes to pink floyd, **** and ball torture to hank williams sr., new order to orchid

4. When did you start playing an instrument and what was it?

A: I don't play an instrument, unless you count my throat. I've been playing that baby since I was born.

5. What was the bands most memorable gig to date?

A: they're all pretty memorable. we had one in I think Nottington, UK or something like that where we were ****ing **** faced off warm beer and our set ended with us surfing our broken instruments across stage..
There was also a mythical show in Omaha, Nebraska that had drunken handjobs and homemade tattoos going on on stage involving the fall of troy, blackout pact, and hhll but I won't elaborate on that.

6. What do you do to relax on tour?
A: smoke herbs, read, watch movies, listen to soothing music, sleep

7. You have Just released an album are you happy with the fans reaction?
A: we haven't got too much fan reaction yet, but what we have got has been pretty solid. some people love it and some people hate it and that's exactly how we saw it going. we're still the same band, just more comfortable to be ourselves.

A: 8. Who writes the songs?
I write the lyrics, they jam up the songs, we all throw around ideas..

9. Have you any plans for the rest of the year?
A: umm so far we only have a US tour planned for the month of September, I never know too far ahead in the future

10.What is your favourite song of all time?
A: shine on you crazy diamond is great, I have a lot of favorite songs

11.What is the bands ideal goal?
A: I don't think we have an overall "goal", we just like to play music and make you feel weird and awkward and providing a strange musical experience that we can expand on to no end in our future.

12.What equipment (manufacturer) does each band member currently use?
A: umm.. weird question.. danny uses danelectro and first act guitars with an Emperor cab and Peavey 5150 head

13.Who has the worst habit?
A: Danny, always drinkin his own piss

14. Have you any plans to tour overseas in the next year?
A: hopefully, I love it over there, definitely a highlight of my life being in Europe and all over the UK and stuff
