Descent have been building towards this moment since their first demo was
recorded in 2000 steadfastly building a reputation and fan base on the underground
scene while overcoming the usual problems of birthing this incarnation solidified in 2003 and as a four piece death thrash metal band they have nailed the sound so tight that the proverbial ducks arse couldn't match 'em.
Descent hail from west London and the album 'This Violent Reality' is the bands best recording to date with some outstanding riffs played at a furious head nodding pace plus incorperating rhythmic melody and stuffed with death vocals that actually match the timing of the rhythms.
The bakers dozen of an album playlist kicks off with 'Enemies Closer' a thrash speed merchants dream start leaving gravel flying in the face of others, the pace does not slacken throughout the album with only the odd gear change and usually to add credence to the death rattles of the vocals.. oh yeah a couple of tracks open slower before exploding into thrash. This is an album that all Descent fans will buy and I would also expect a whole new raft of fans to get in on this by buying the album as well I would also expect you all to charge around to your mates house grinning wildly as you make them play it very Loud, This Violent Reality will spread the seed of Descent further then any before and you can be part of it.
