The City Wakes is a festival in Cambridge at the end of October celebrating the life and music of Syd Barrett, one of the founding members of Pink Floyd. There are concert performances; exhibitions of Syd's painting; an exhibition by Storm Thorgerson, Pink Floyd's designer who made the Dark Side of the Moon album cover; Music Workshops; guided tours; plays; a '60s happening and loads loads more.
