I wnt to the indoor show year before last with a few mates ... massive piss up, full of fat goth metal girls , thats a bit harsh there were a couple of hot chicks, gigs were good though even saw some of the bands you play on the rockbox

SHEFFIELD, UK - Rising rockers RISE TO ADDICTION have confirmed final details for their upcoming appearances at the Motonalet Festival in the Czech Republic and the Bloodstock Festival in the UK.

The band make their first ever appearance in the Czech Republic on 4th August 2007 at the Motonalet Festival, MOTONÁLET CUSTOM SHOW Nikolcice, Czech Republic. Said to be the largest motor cycle festival in the country,Motonalet features an eclectic mix of the countries top artists. Rise to Addiction will be appearing on the main stage and are scheduled to perform at 2300 hrs.

Their performance at the Bloodstock Festival Bloodstock.co.uk - The Best Horses Resources and Information. This website is for sale! has been confirmed for the main stage at 1200hrs on 18th August 2007. Other bands appearing on the same day include In Flames and Arch Enemy. The festival takes place at Catton Hall, Near Lichfield between 16th and 18th August 2007.

Rise To Addiction released their debut album 'A New Shade Of Black For The Soul' through Mausoleum Records in May. 'A New Shade Of Black For the Soul' was recorded at Backstage Studios and The Cell in England during 2006.The tracking and production was handled by Rise To Addiction while the final mix was completed by Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Megadeth).

The release was followed with the bands first European tour as special guests to legendary Chicago band TROUBLE, bringing the act to a new audience and garnering critical acclaim from the European press.
