Where have all the psychedelic rock bands gone to I havn't seen/heard any new ones for years, I come accross some second raters on myspace but does anyone know any good psychedelic bands that are worth listening to.

Your right there hasn't been much new psychedelic bands worth listening too for many a long year, we have only come across a few over the last six years, check out these two reviews:
The Groove Monsters
Ego prime
Both bands get played on the Progresive rock station.. if you havn't already checked it out then you should do so.
But if any one knows any good psychedelic bands post them on the forums so we can ALL check them out

I still listen to Pink Floyd, I too have not found any really psychedelic music worth listening too.

If you're interested in some art rock though try out Dredg. I suppose they're the modern equivilent to the likes of Floyd and Hawkwind.

There's a band called Ruby Red Lips playing the Hawkwind festival. They're not psycadelic but they're pretty good.

I'm not into psychedelic rock, my old man thinks I'm too young to get it haha. I just think he's too old to get anything else.

that's rubbish. You just need to like Rock n Roll and get off your face on mushrooms while you're listening to it!
