I saw a question some weeks ago ( and did not have time to reply ) about why we are playing so much British music on our radio stations..

The answer is that once we had contributers from the USA who have have moved on ( we have been doing this for over six years now) and currently have no US contributers.

The Rockbox station plays British only music from new and unsigned bands ( which I manage, sometimes with the contribution from others *thanks guys)

The Rock 3 station used to play unsigned and new US AND UK acts but this last year or so has been playing a mix of big artists US and Uk acts. (no metal), what we once had was people writing reviews on US artists ( the latest young bands) and we would play the music. ( it has to fit the station format)

And all the other stations would play what suited their format, while the artists could be from anywhere.

So if any US resident wants the challenge we can place your name and address on the website for US bands to send YOU their CD'S, you do the reviews ( you also get to keep the CD'S) and you place your review on the site ( and earn the reputation as a reviewer.. good for a CV ) actually this could apply to anyone anywhere in the world.!
