Great new indie bands you should know!

Hi board! I've a few bands for you that I think you might be into.

Mesh29 - Top quality piano led indie band about to release a single called 'Over The Barricade'. Check them out on tour the next couple of gigs are 23rd June at Sanctuary in Sheffield and 25th June at The Horns in Watford. www.myspace.com/mesh29

The Servant are another brilliant band. They've played with the likes of Lily Allen, Franz Ferdinand and Patti Smith. A new album 'How To Destroy A Relationship' is out very soon! www.myspace.com/theservantuk

Last but by no means least check out The Sessions. They're doing it alone without record labels and their latest single 'What is this feeling?' just sold out! www.myspace.com/thesessionsuk

Well kinzz some good bands there, great quality nice songs and obviously all the bands know how to write a song, I can see from their myspace page stats they they are very popular.

Mesh29
Have a good vocalist and some great songs and are only going to get better, the music is not passionate enough for me but the lyrics are well written and will appeal to those who can identify with relationship breakdowns and struggles. and with over 300,000 plays on one track alone they are certainly building up a fanbase.

The Sessions
Funky finger poping sound all very eclectic, again well crafted songs and very enjoyble good for those feel good moments... can't say more then that well worth a listen, certainly have qualitys that will carry them far.

The Servent
Nice Pop beatlesque sound all very well done but the songs on display are all very melancholy type.. interesting, but oh so not what I want to hear..

well done for finding them and bring them to the forums attention.. we used to have a radio editor who was into popular sound and would have enjoyed them but she moved on some time ago. Keep finding Gems like that and it would go down well.

Yeah.. great choice, I like Mesh29 particualy liked the piano, they used it well... and my relationship isn't breaking down! I may add!...

The sessions were all right but not my cup of tea, but I really dig the Servent nice stuff, probably are a pop band but more of a guitar pop band which suits me at my age.. cool I hope they make it big in the charts I will be so pleased to know 'em when they were unknown,

cheers kinzz
