Has anyone listened to midasuno recently, rock3 done a review recently and I just borrowed the album from my mate, and it is prety good, sounds a bit like the lost prophets but I don't think that is a bad thing although they are not as melodic it certainly rocks.


would you calll them punk? or emo?..

Naw there not emo mabby just alternative rock I looked on there myspace and they label themselves rock alternative/electro, but certainly are not emo and not punk but they sound ok, although what is punk nowadays, everyone calls themselves punk just so they can get some kudos

There has been so much experimentation over the years from bands, that used emo vocals and done to, punk, metal, hybrid punk/metal etc but it is really a style of vocals and was used extensivly by the hardcore bands to articulate the hate/rage end, punk to articulate anger and later bands used the vocal style and hybridised it with guitar rock/pop which is where emo are probably today.. a journey that is never ending.. that is the blessing of Rock!
