 City 13 - Better late than never
‘City 13’ are a 5-piece from Wolverhampton, U.K who describe themselves as ‘Hard Edged Punk Rock’.This band are excellent! From their description, I thought I might be in for a risky pop-punk attempt, but these guys bring the rock! Track 1 ‘Suffer for it’ set’s the listener up for the rest of the album, great guitaring, solid drumming and unique (but strong) vocals. I must admit, after Track 1 finished, I hit the back button to give it another hearing because it was immediately catchy and enjoyable. They have some great song's posted on their Myspace and it should be enough to convince you to purchase the album. Great stuff! |
